This is a simple free resource. It has been uploaded as a pdf. and MS Word file in case there are any formatting issues or if it needs to be edited. This resources encourages the student to reflect on their own effort, conduct, and areas of weakness before exams. Although this resources uses the language of the Irish Junior Cycle, it can easily be edited for British KS3 and KS4. It consists of a list of what materials students need to bring to class and the P.R.I.D.E acronym: • Positive Attitude – Actively listen, participate with your classmates and teachers. • Respect for All - Accept and respect everyone. Try first to understand, then to be understood. • Integrity - Take responsibility for your actions. (Be reliable) • Do the Right Thing - Stop, think, and make good choices. • Effort Towards Learning – Be prepared for your lessons, give your best effort. Things you need for this class: • A folder - for any sheets or handouts you are given. • Pencil case - pens etc. - to write with in class. • Copy – you will need to take down notes and activities during class. • Textbook – Digital or hardcopy.
